  1. Leslie Power says:

We use drywall screen for the removal of hardwater stains (and other challenging deposits), works everytime and completely non toxic. A soft pumice stone will work, but can be very expensive.

  2. Hello Jean and Steve. Great episode.
So far I didn’t have a client that quit with out notice, but if I do get one some day, I will definitely follow your advice.
Speaking about production rate, I completely understand the situation where one person is very productive, but another one is very slow. We had a similar thing. What we usually do in this case, we tell employees that the account is cleaned in let’s say 3 hours. If they want to clean it longer, it’s their decision, but we will pay only for 3 hours of work. Sometimes tweaking training program won’t help, especially in the cases when a person has some form of disability that doesn’t allow her to work faster.

  3. Geri Kraft says:

I have a similar situation, in which one of the girls, will go into the back bedrooms, and bath room, and spend her entire time there, while the other woman, cleans the majority of the house…what I have done, is “switch” the cleaner from one area to the other, and or have both of them work in the same room…it gets the other person, to move it along….
